Hat tip to alert reader Monique who had a question about the spelling of enroll on Teacher Tom, a website for teaching grammar.

I was certain Monique was onto something (probably a basic typo), but the fact that Teacher Tom is based in Australia did raise my other-country-alternative-spelling radar so I looked it up. As it turns out, enrol is a perfectly acceptable spelling for enroll.
However, it does appear as enroll on the same page, so for consistency’s sake, they may wish to choose one spelling or the other.

Who says you can’t teach an old MRP new tricks?
I was similarly surprised, upon moving from the USA to New Zealand, to find myself working on the ‘Fulfil Team’ in my new job. I’m not yet sure if I can also hike to a waterfal or go shopping at the local mal.
