I’m sure I’m not the only one who found the cover story about Benazir Bhutto in this Sunday’s Parade magazine more than a little eerie.

MRP well understands the vagaries of the print schedule and I figured it had something to do with the magazine’s print date being weeks in advance of its newsstand appearance. Sure enough, there’s a note to that effect on the Parade website:
Editor’s note: The assassination of Pakistan’s Benazir Bhutto on Dec. 27 occurred after PARADE’s Jan. 6 issue went to press.
Still, pretty up there on the creepy meter.
