Don’t try this at home

This may look like a real fire extinguisher, and it may say “fire extinguisher” on it, but it’s not, I repeat, not a real fire extinguisher. It’s about 6 1/2″ tall and you fill it with water from your tap.

In case there were any doubt in the mind of your 3 1/2 year old firefighter, however, it comes with this handy warning in tiny print on the back, complete with exotic spelling of “extinguish.”

  1. I wish MRP would be a little more open to neologisms. “Extinquish” is a verb meaning to squish fires out by banging on them with a phony extinguisher.
