This is a pic of the presidential dollar coins that were released recently. Some proofreader over there at the U.S. Mint failed to notice that the coins were struck without the inscriptions they were supposed to have around the edges, including “In God We Trust” and the ever-popular “E Pluribus Unum.”

MRP predicts heads will roll over this one.

  1. Dollar coins haven’t fared to well in the past, perhaps this “mistake” was intentional. What better way to promote the new coin than that your dollar my be worth fifty.
