These colors don’t run

This little tidbit from Winslow Homer: Poet of the Sea by Eric Shanes came from Helen’s Dad, who claims he couldn’t read another sentence of the book after this dangler:

Perhaps unsurprisingly, [Winslow Homer] was drawn much more strongly towards his mother, who was cultured and practical, with an affinity for painting in watercolours that would eventually rub off on him.

Maybe some Oxi Clean would take care of that for him.
