MRP caught you a delicious typo

Filed under: At home with MRP,Overseen — mighty red pen @ 6:21 pm

The ever-romantic Mister MRP recently treated MRP to a lovely box of the delicious, locally made Cocoapelli Chocolates. I recommend everything in this picture.

Even the Belgium white chocolate.

  1. Wow!

Can you imagine the effort that this took?

Mr. MRP must have gone to thousands of chocolate stores, begging for a really fine chocolate with a grammatical or spelling error. Hours and hours of his life must have been spent carefully reading over the packaging to find just the perfect gift — a box of chocolate that would be delicious and serve as the basis for a post.

MRP, he really must love you.

  2. I disagree. White chocolate is not recommended. Every time I eat a piece, I think, “Gross. Why did I bother eating this crap?” You always think it is going to be better than it was the last time, but it isn’t. It tarnishes the name of chocolate.

  3. Yes, Adistius, while MRP thinks I am lounging around on the hammock during my days off, I’ve actually been engaged in a global search for this perfect gift. To be honest, I’m exhausted from all the secret red eye flights, the lies, the deception, but the look of sheer glee on MRP’s face when she saw the typo made it all worthwhile.

  4. “Belgum” is likely just a typo for Belgium. The real problem is that the writer thinks Belgium is an adjective. Of course, the right word is Belgian. I have seen “Belgium Waffle” on menus.

  5. Yes, that was my point, “Belgium” was just a typo. But you’re absolutely right, “Belgium/Belgum” was just the wrong word altogether!

    Did she like the chocolates
