Ringing in the new year

They had three choices: New Year’s Eve, New Years Eve, or New Years’ Eve, and they got it totally wrong. Not once, but twice. And in two different ways.

Okay, here’s the deal. The new year (only one of them) possesses the eve, so it’s New Year’s Eve.

Yes, the same rule will apply to New Year’s Day.

  1. Don’t pick on the poor Bruins. They haven’t won a championship so they probably have the players doing their copy editing.
