All Jeep all the time

Filed under: Mad marketing — mighty red pen @ 9:01 pm

Nikita wrote to draw my attention to this ad, the one for Jeep Liberty where the guy is driving in his truck and some animals hop in and start singing.

It’s entertaining, to be sure, but what caught MRP’s attention was what flashed at the end:

I can’t help but wonder: Shouldn’t that be the all new Jeep Liberty as opposed to the new all Jeep Liberty? Is that as opposed to the new somewhat Jeep Liberty?

Update: After I posted this, I saw another Jeep Liberty ad with the same tagline. Apparently, this actually means something to them, the question is what?

  2. Wonder what kind of response I’d get if I wrote and asked…

  4. They mean that it’s “all Jeep”, like some folks used to say “he’s all boy” – in other words, don’t get fooled by how pretty and sleek and comfortable it is, it’s “all Jeep” – tough and practical, really.
