MRP’s favorite part of this was noticing that the tagline is trademarked and investigating the possibility that they had trademarked the mistake right along with it.

Phew, they didn’t. You can all breathe easy now.

  1. I thought maybe they’d deliberately worked the misspelling in.

    Sort of like, Zip-Lok is the trademark, because they couldn’t have trademarked the term “zip lock”–companies often create an incorrect spelling in order to be *able* to trademark it.

    I hate this sort of trademarking, by the way. I just don’t think companies should be able to trademark a phrase like that. And now no other company can use that phrase? Unfair.
