A tendency to ramble

You missed it. Yes, you. You missed the James Joyce Ramble.

It was your chance to run a 10K road race while having the works of James Joyce read to you by folks in period costumes. And you missed it.

Picture from the Boston Globe.

  1. So how much would you have actually heard, as you go whizzing past?

    A sentence, two?

I suppose if you’re slow, like me, you might hear more. If, that is, you can feel anything over your own breathing.

But a fun idea, I guess.

(Me, running always hurts enough, I don’t want anybody talking to me while I’m doing it!)

  2. C’mon, MRP! Bet you’d be more open if it were a Sweet Valley High Ramble.

  3. Mmm, not so much. Maybe Beverly Hills 90210 Ramble . . .

  4. Also, TootsNYC, maybe that’s why it’s a ramble and not so much a sprint?
