In honor of National Punctuation Day, MRP gives you this excellent example of gratuitous quotation marks, seen at the Big E in Western Massachusetts.

I’m not sure if what’s “real” is the ice cream or the soft serve, but I’m not taking any chances. Fried dough, anyone?

  1. The reason it’s in scare quotes is that it tastes so fake you’d never think that it was REAL! But it is!
