Hat tip to Z, who spotted this sign at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport. Where to begin?

Okay, so there are the usual random caps (Call Buttons, Construction, Contact), there are also the places MRP would wish there were some additional punctuation (maybe a comma after maintenance; possibly a colon after we have relocated these vehicles; a period, comma, or even a semi-colon after please forgive us; a period after relocate your vehicle), also the rendering of throughout as two words where it should only be one. Anyone else?

My favorite part of this sign, though, is the repetitive use of relocate and locate. Seems like someone could have used some help locating their proofreader.

  1. The grammar mistakes were secondary to me. I snapped the shot just because I was amused by the message, “Oops, we moved your car.” It was only after taking the photo that I realized what Mighty Red Pen could do for Minneapolis airport signage!
