It’s probably a lot better than one proofreader’s story about how they omitted the apostrophe in Mom’s.

  1. Maybe I’m wrong, but shouldn’t it be ‘mom’ rather than ‘Mom’? (Being British, I call my mom ‘Mum’ anyway…)
