I would say that common sense is inherent to that advice.

  2. Apart from the heresy(1) problem, it’s also a nice idea to have customers cooperate with guidelines. I wonder what this cooperation looks/sounds/feels like. “Hi, guidelines, I’m a new customer. How can we cooperate?” – “Hi, customer. Take a seat. First, we’ll introduce ourselves. Now, I am guideline no. 1 …”
