A cautionary tail, er, tale

This photo that’s been circulating the Interwebs has Rachael Ray giving new meaning to her catchword Delish! by declaring she cooks her family and her dog. It seems to be living proof that the comma is indispensable.

It’s a photoshopped version of the original cover, but kudos to Tails magazine for having a sense of humor about it.

  1. My initial interpretation was that it was missing the word “for”, as in “Rachel Ray finds inspiration in cooking for her family and her dog.”

I don’t cook for my dog and I do not find inspiration in cooking; I do, however, find inspiration in my family and my dog.

Whether it is missing a “for” or a comma, it is humorous either way. Thanks for sharing.
