Thanks to the cinetrix, who writes, “No merit badge for spelling . . . or at least that was my impression today when we came across this sign on the 5K ‘wooded route’ through the Storrs Pond Recreation Area.”

  2. Poor Scouts. First, they get sued for demanding that everyone believe in an acceptable-God. Then they get denied funding because they claim that gays and lesbians can’t possibly fulfill the requirement to be “morally straight” as required by the Scout Oath. And then, just when the movement accidentally founded by Baden Powell thinks things can’t get worse, MRP slaps them down for not teaching good spelling.
